This installer will kill the running VSI Print Agent service and the VSI Print Agent Tray application. Then it will uninstall any old version of VSI Print Agent and then install the new version.

During the installation process the following runtimes will be installed if needed. Sometimes this installation is only triggered when VSI Print Agent is starting.

• SumatraPDF
• Microsoft .Net 9 runtime
• Microsoft ASP.Net Core 9 shared framework

Make sure Sumatra PDF is installed or else Adobe Acrobat will be used for printing PDF’s directly to printers.

Restart your computer after installation.

You can manually start the VSI Print Agent Tray in the start-menu of Windows. The green ‘V’ in your taskbar is the VSI Print Agent Tray application with a context menu with the various features.
